Fabulous {Saturday}: Finding Joy In The Little Things

{This post was originally intended for Fridays, but I just now found the link-up so I figured I would do it anyway!}

I want to make sure I find joy in every single little thing. God intended for me to live my life joyful. The joy of the LORD is MY strength! {Nehemiah 8:10}

Here are a few things that have brought me joy this week:

*Finally purchasing Josh's wedding outfit! It's made of linen and he looks so handsome in it.

*My chihuahua smiling at me and my sister. I promise she did.

*Starting the http://shereadstruth.com Hosea reading plan.

*Addressing envelopes and cutting out invitations for my wedding!

I hope you find joy this weekend in everything you do, even in the hard moments.

{A Loan From God}

I read something a while ago that got me thinking, and it's been on my mind ever since then. God places certain people in our lives to care for them - our spouse and kids. They're a loan from God to us. When someone loans us something we make sure we take the very best care of it and treat it with the upmost respect, right? We make sure we don't break it, abuse it, toss it around.

If God has loaned us something, how much more should we take care of it?

God has placed Josh in my life. He is a loan from God. I must make sure that I treat Josh with respect and take care of him greatly. I want to return Josh to God with minimum damage from me.

I hope everyone continues to have a great weekend!

{Nowhere But Up}

A few weeks ago I ordered a book that was written by Justin Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette. Let me just say that this woman and her story is absolutely amazing! It's a story of heartbreak, hurt, despair, love, redemption, and joy. It's a God story. I read the entire story in one day. I could not put the book down. It's a book of healing. I encourage everyone to go buy it right now. It's absolutely incredible.

{Things I'm Liking}

My cute puppy and I - I always like her :)

- I'm really loving this book for helping me prepare for marriage in almost five months!

- This devo has been really fantastic! I got it for Christmas and it's always spot-on for me!

- I'm always looking for a good facial cleanser, and I'm loving this one because it's natural and it also removes makeup, even waterproof mascara!

- Okay, so I went to the Biebs concert last Friday night and I fell even more in love. Seriously, I have Bieber Fever and I'm not ashamed. This song is on his new acoustic album. My word, it's heartbreaking.

- My mind has been blown since two days ago. This isn't Justin Bieber. His name is Robin Verrecas.

I hope everyone has a great and blessed weekend!

{Oh, How Pinteresting!}

I'm linking up with Michelle from The Vintage Apple for Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday!
I love this bedroom for boy/girl twins! It's so sweet! And are those flying pigs above the crib!?

In love with this family Christmas portrait! I definitely see Josh and I doing this with our future kiddos!

Haha this had me cracking up! Josh will probably do this with our kids!

I think I'm going to make a similar sign for me and Josh's apartment!

I am so in LOVE with this! I know that the apartment that Josh and I will move in to will most likely not have a fire place, so I will for sure be making this towards Christmastime!

Hahaha all the guys from One Direction are so funny!

{All because two people fell in love...}

Two years ago I never would have imagined becoming engaged three weeks before my eighteenth birthday. In five months and eight days, I'll walk down the aisle to the rest of my life. It will be twelve days before my nineteenth birthday. I know I am young, but I know that God will bless my marriage more than I could ever think possible.

I'll soon be Mrs. Driver (hence the blog name!). I hope this blog will help other young couples with their decision to marry young and will hopefully one day build a community of young married couples who can be real and open with each other. I'll leave y'all with some pictures of me and Mr. D.
